Is the Child Within the Little Ones of The New Testament

In the New Testament Jesus places particular attention and importance on the Child Within who are often referred to as the "little ones". As believers we are warned that if we do not "turn about", and become as a child, we cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven (Mt 18:3; 19:14). But this provokes the question: What does it mean to "turn about", and become as a child? Virtually no modern Christian would be able to answer this question today. Why? Not only has the Gospels been corrupted with many of the most important teachings removed or corrupted -- but more important is the fact that the suppression of the teachings on the child Within can be proven by any Christian, using any Bible and any version of the scriptures. Any Evangelical Christian -- any Jehovah's Witness -- any Roman Catholic -- any Christian by any name or affiliation -- can prove to themselves that the scriptures were corrupted, and this all-important teaching was suppressed and changed by the Church. Which means that if any Christian can open their Bibles and prove that the scriptures have been corrupted -- with one of the most important teachings on gaining entrance into the Kingdom being suppressed because of its opposition to the man-made dogma of the (Gentile-Orthodox) Church that entered into a covenant with the Emperor Constantine and pagan Rome -- then every aspect of modern Christian belief must be questioned and examined.

What was it about becoming a child Within that the leaders and authorities of the Church did not agree with? And in view of the fact that every Christian can open their own Bibles -- regardless of the version or translation -- and prove that certain important teachings pertaining to gaining entrance into the Kingdom have been altered and corrupted -- then where does that leave the modern Christian today? If it can be demonstrated that the Gospels have been corrupted and certain important teachings of Jesus were suppressed, then the question must be posed: How would the modern Christian know what to believe? Should the believer just go along blindly and embrace the dogma of the Church? Which provokes the question: If it is true that the teachings on the child Within were corrupted and suppressed, then how many other important teachings were also suppressed? Which raises the question: Will the modern Christian be held accountable for the teachings in the Gospels which were altered from their original context -- and even removed -- in order to make the scriptures support the man-made dogma of Pagan Rome? And if this is true -- i.e., that the Gospels were corrupted by the later Church in order to make them support the man-made dogma of Rome -- the question must be asked: Would the modern Christian have any other alternative than to continue to believe in the manner that they presently do?

What if ANYONE who fulfils this teaching and becomes what is personified as a child Within will have -- in the process -- prepared their minds to receive what can be called The Sacred Knowledge or Divine Manna of the Kingdom? And having done so, will receive and know the Truth of all Truths? It has been promised: "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna" (Rev 2:17). If a Christian succeeds in fulfilling the Commandment to "overcome" the human limitations of this world -- turning about and fulfilling the original teachings on becoming a child Within -- will they still be reliant upon corrupted scriptures? Or will the Divine Manna of the Kingdom fill them with Light and Knowledge that transcends all human wisdom? Which provokes the questions: What if ANYONE who begins to fulfil this teaching personifies the commandment to first remove the beam from one's own eyes, before attempting to remove the splinters from the eyes of our brothers and sisters? What if ANYONE who begins to fulfil this teaching is able to utilise the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge  and when turned within one's own mind and being, is able to inherit the Promise and enter the Kingdom and learn directly from the Logos/Son of God as commanded to have no other Teacher ? Thus, fulfilling the biblical statement: "It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me" (John 6:45 NIV). Which means that since virtually ANYONE has the innate God-Given Ability to bypass the corruptions and dogma of men -- and go to the Source of all Truth -- if you remain clinging to the dogma of men, will you be judged and held accountable for not fulfilling this Gospel teaching?

Seeking the Truth requires effort on the part of the believer -- i.e., "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22 NKJ). Yet, the vast majority of people who call themselves Christian, are not willing to make the effort. The key to the equation of seeking Truth is found in the parable of TheCall to the Wedding Banquette  -- wherein it can be said that those who call themselves Christian, can be portrayed as the "invited guests" -- i.e., "Jesus answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son, and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come. Again he sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast!' But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise, and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully...". Those who have begun the journey of coming to Christ, are the "invited guests".

In order to put on the required Wedding Garment and come to The Call to the Wedding Banquette, it requires great effort to make the spiritual journey in The Way. After all, Jesus taught: "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me" (Matt 10:38 NKJ). Which means that the believer must be dedicated to seeking and living the Truth in word, thought, desire and deed. The above words where those who are portrayed as invited -- and instead of making the journey "...went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise", portrays people who continue to permit their lives to be centred upon and entangled in the thinking and lifestyle of this world. And while they may call themselves Christians, of those who fail to come to The Call, Jesus taught that "those who were invited weren't worthy". Which provokes the question: What constitutes being worthy? What is the fate of the invited guests who did not come? If the Christians are representative of the invited guests, in the version found in the Gospel of Luke it states: "For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my banquet” -- which provokes the question: How can the Christians be saved by faith apart from their actions -- making claim to a guarantee to salvation the moment they accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour? And while those who had not been called were not doomed to the destruction imposed upon the invited guests who did not come, the question still remains as to what is the fate of those who were cast into the "outer darkness"? What does it mean: "For many are called, but few chosen"? Which, from a Christian doctrinal perspective the question must be posed: Aren't all those who call upon the name of the Lord saved? With respect to the dogma of instant salvation Jesus warned: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'" (Matt 7:21-23 NKJ).

In the parable of the Talents it is written that "And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey"(Matt 25:15 NKJ). But upon returning, the servant who buried the talent in the earth was rejected and cast into the "outer darkness" of mind and being -- i.e., "...And throw that worthless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matt 25:30 }. Burying one's Talents in the earth, is the equivalent in the parable of The Call of those who permitted their lives to be centred upon and entangled in the thinking and lifestyle of this world. But what does this mean from a believers perspective? One of the many paradoxes that confront the believer is explored in these biblical verses by the Wycliffe Commentary which writes: “Herein is the crux of the interpretation. If this reckoning is the judgment of the believer's works, then we apparently have a true believer suffering the loss of his soul because of the barrenness of his works." With respect to the believer suffering loss, the parable of the talents contains one of the most ignored and important teachings in the Gospels that the modern Christians cannot resolve because of the many verses of scripture that was removed by the Church -- i.e., “That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked” (Luke 12:47-48 NIV). What Jesus is stating to us is that believer’s who do not fulfill the Commandments, will be punished more than those unbelievers who do not know the will of God.

Thus, we have a great void that modern Christians totally lack the insight to understand -- and the fact that the dogma of the Church is built upon this great spiritual void, is representative of the very reason the Church exists as an obstruction to the teachings of TheWay. An honest Christian would recognize that the above words are so contrary to modern-day belief, that these words should literally haunt every person who calls themselves a Christian believer. Yet, these very words which have been embraced by the Church, and are in direct opposition to modern Christian dogma, is confirmed by Peter when he wrote of believers: "If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit, and, A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud" (2 Pet 2:20-22 NIV). Where the modern Church promotes the doctrine that they are saved by Grace regardless of the manner in which they live their lives, Peter not only states that this doctrine is in grave error, but correctly states that: "It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them." Every Christian should ask themselves: How Can This Be??? How can those who have never known the teachings of Christ, be better off than those who having heard, and are complacent towards those teachings? It would appear that Peter is stating that those who had never heard the Gospel message -- and had themselves committed much sin -- will in the hereafter inherit a more lofty place in the Kingdom than the complacent believers.

In the parable of The Call to the Wedding Feast  there are two types of people portrayed -- i.e., those who were called as "invited guests", and the multitudes who were not an invited guest, but were given entrance when the invited guests who did not come were destroyed because of their failure to come when invited. Thus, the "invited guests"who did not come, can be categorized as those believers “...who knows [their] master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows...". While the unbelievers of whom it is said are portrayed as "...the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows", were not destroyed as was the "invited guests" were -- but were merely thrown into the "outer darkness" of mind and being: "...And throw that worthless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matt 25:30 . Which confirms the Gospel teaching that the fate of the complacent believers is far worse than the unbelievers. Why? Because every believer has the innate ability to gain access to the Divine Manna and become a child of the Kingdom of Light -- learning directly from the Indwelling Logos/Son of God (see The True Prophet ).

At Mark 10:24 Jesus refers to his disciples as children when he explains: "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" (NIV). Which provokes the question: If all that was required was to say a prayer accepting Jesus as ones personal Lord and Saviour , then why would the scriptures make reference to "how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God"? This same man of whom Jesus was speaking in reference to at Mark 10:24, had come to Jesus -- falling on his knees before Jesus -- calling him Master -- beseeching him what he should do to "inherit eternal life" (Mark 10:17) -- which by Christian teachings, would have fulfilled the modern theological requirements of a believer who is guaranteed the gift of salvation from the moment they call upon Jesus as their lord and savior. But instead of stating that your faith has earned you salvation as taught by the modern Church, Jesus commanded him to fulfill the Law. And when the man replied that he has always kept the Law, Jesus replied that he was yet lacking ONE THING -- and told him to "go and sell all you possess and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven, and come, follow me". When rightly understood, Jesus was telling the man to become an Ebionite -- i.e. which means the "poor one's" who have no part in the thinking, mindset and lifestyle of this world -- thereby fulfilling the adage to "be in the world and not of it". Which in fact, this requirement is the same as was repeated by the disciples in the words: "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22 NKJ). What the vast majority of modern Christians fail to realize is the fact that the reference to being rich, in this instance, can as much mean rich in man-made dogma, as well as the customs, ways, thinking and teaching of man's worldly culture -- in contradistinction to material wealth. Spiritually, when properly understood, many believers of little financial means can qualify as a rich man. In fact, they could have taken a vow of poverty, and if they have embraced the man-made dogma of a Church, the mindset of this world, and cling to and adhere to a great many manmade doctrines, it truly would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a person rich in man-made dogma and doctrines to enter the Kingdom of God. The children of the Kingdom are those who learn ONLY from the ONE SOURCE, are in the world and not of it.

Of great importance from a spiritual perspective was the understanding of children that was conveyed by the Lord to the hearer or reader of the Gospel. This understanding, as with numerous other important spiritual truths, was removed from the scriptures by the church of Constantine. In being deprived of the knowledge and understanding of the essential original teachings of Jesus on the process of becoming a child who is then able to enter into the Kingdom -- i.e., "And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them, and said, Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven"(Mat 18: 2-3) -- the faith-based Christian who believes they will go to Glory in the Kingdom when they pass from this life, will have in fact squandered away the opportunity to enter into Life. And while they will not cease to exist, their end will not in any manner be what they expected. And if we ask: Why has the modern believer been deprived of the knowledge of this essential teaching? A teaching which the Gospel proclaims will obstruct and inhibit the believers entrance into the Kingdom -- i.e., "...Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven". Largely, because of politics and the use of religion by despotic rulers who forced their dogma upon the Church to exert unquestioned control over the masses. While Spiritual Religion is a path to bring about a direct and conscious connection to God, secularised institutionalised quasi-religion is a means to control the people and remain in a position of political power and rulership. Moreover, when the motives and even the behaviour of the quasi-religious authorities are questioned, counterfeit institutionalised religion responds with the need to have blind-faith and belief. Martin Luther, who only possessed a very feeble and immature understanding of the scriptures, actually went so far as to condemn the use of Reason -- i.e., “Reason”, writes Luther, “is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but - more frequently than not - struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God” (Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled by George Seldes). The whole of post-Reformation Theology which was founded upon Luther and Calvin's doctrine of Predestination which was built upon the Augustinian doctrine of Original Sin, was portrayed as sinful to even question from a rational perspective . Which means that those ungodly despots who used counterfeit religion to maintain their rule over man, could not in any manner be questioned in accord with moral or spiritual standards.

Modern Church teachings and dogma is based upon St. Augustine's gravely flawed doctrine of Original Sin . Drawing upon the facts presented at the foregoing link, it is easily proven that the original followers and disciples of Jesus who walked and talked with him daily did not believe he was God incarnate. As the first of the prodigal sons to return to the Edenic Kingdom of Origination, the original followers and disciples of Jesus understood that he was a man -- just as all other men -- and as a true holy man who fulfilled the Law within himself, had become At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God. And he taught that all men and women who become Whole and Complete, are able to do and accomplish all that he did. Therefore, it must be recognized that modern Christianity has virtually nothing in common with the Original Gospel teachings of TheWay. The doctrinal foundation of modern Christianity is built upon the gravely flawed construct of what has been portrayed as quasi faux-gnostic teachings based upon Manichaean and Mithraic dogma. Before his conversion, St Augustine who is the author of the doctrine of Original Sin, drew upon his Manichaean background, and the faux-gnostic concepts that were the bedrock of his doctrine as presented in the Widipedia: "Manichaeism was a major religious movement that was founded by the Iranian prophet Mani in the Sasanian Empire. Manichaeism taught an elaborate dualistic cosmology describing the struggle between a good, spiritual world of light, and an evil, material world of darkness. Through an ongoing process which takes place in human history, light is gradually removed from the world of matter and returned to the world of light, whence it came. Its beliefs were based on local Mesopotamian gnostic and religious movements." The Foundational Paradigm of Failure is erected upon the doctrine of Original Sins and all the similar doctrines which have their existence within the domain of a saviour who must be sacrificed for the salvation of a fallen mankind. While modern believers cling to the dogma of the doctrine of Original Sin which was hatched by St. Augustine, it is the faith-based believers own spiritual immaturity that causes them to cling to such preposterous and carnal ideas about God.

While the historical record proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the scriptures were corrupted by unscrupulous political authorities and their pseudo-religious leaders  -- resulting in the fact that numerous important spiritual teachings were removed from the scriptures, and/or corrupted in order to make the Gospels support the dogma of Pagan Rome. When rightly understood, the teaching of Jesus on the children, was one of the essential conceptual truths that is necessary to understand the very purpose and objectives of the Gospel which became totally rejected by the faction within the Gentile Church which portrayed itself as Orthodox -- i.e., a Pharisaic faction that in contradistinction stood in opposition to those various groups of Christians who rejected secular institutionalisation and remained Spiritual. The Spiritual Christians were labeled heretics, because they rejected the religion of the Emperor. Thus, Edward, Gibbon writes in the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire: ”Constantine easily believed that the heretics, who presumed to dispute his opinions or to oppose his commands, were guilty of the most absurd and criminal obstinacy... Not a moment was lost in excluding the ministers and teachers of the separated congregations from any share of the rewards and immunities which the emperor had so liberally bestowed on the orthodox clergy. But as the sectaries might still exist under the cloud of royal disgrace, the conquest of the East was immediately followed by an edict which announced their total destruction”. The total destruction of those who opposed the dogma of the emperor insured that the religion of Jesus was converted to the tenets of Pagan Rome. And while it is true that every Christian today can open their Bibles and prove that crucial verses were removed and altered from their original context, the vast majority of faith-based believers close their eyes to what is clearly seen, and choose instead to remain as ostriches with their heads in the dogmatic sands that have disenfranchised them from the core spiritual meaning of the Good News and the Gospel Message.

How original is the dogma of the modern Church? Dead Sea Scroll expert A. Powell Davies wrote: “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” (quoted by Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls). Even without the Dead Sea Scrolls, Biblical scholars had seen so many great variances in the texts and ancient fragments of the scriptures, they they knew all along that the dogma of the Church was not at all supported by the pre-Nicene sources. Quoting Prof. Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Prof. Burrows writes: “There are those who believe or assume that the Greek and Hebrew texts from which our translations are made are infallible. No person who has studied textual criticism at all could believe that. The most conservative scholars in the most conservative churches recognise that the text has become corrupt at many points in the course of its transmission. If that were not already well known and universally admitted, the Dead Sea Scrolls would demonstrate it conclusively.” Worse yet, Edmund Wilson, an expert who worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls further raised the question as to what difference it makes if “Jesus... had been trained in the discipline and imbued with the thought of a certain Jewish sect, and that he had learned from it the role that he afterwards lived...” (The Scrolls From The Dead Sea). To the uninformed and unknowing believer, it makes all the difference in the world! If Jesus learned and was groomed by a mystical sect of Jewish Gnostics known as Essenes -- and by living a holy and consecrated life, he arrived at that level where he became a man approved by God, rather that the personification of God -- i.e., as stated by Peter: "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know--Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death" (Acts 2:22-23 NKJ) -- represents one of the many verses of scripture which portrays Jesus as a man who was approved by God -- through whom God performed works and miracles as signs to the people -- then the worship of this man as God is pure idolatry. Another scholar and expert Prof. John Allegro stated that the Dead Sea Scrolls provide overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church. This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers. The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine”.

Biblical scholars and experts had long questioned the source of Church dogma because they had access to older biblical texts where it was proven that the historical man Jesus became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) at his baptism in the Jordan (see TheTenStages.com ) -- and in these more ancient scriptures which the biblical scholars has access to, the Father attested to the Anointing of the man Jesus when He said: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee". In the same way that Jesus told the man who came to him asking what he must do to inherit eternal life -- to which Jesus replied that he must fulfill the Law -- the biblical scholars were aware that it was the position of the original disciples and followers that Jesus "...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34). That the historical man Jesus was a pattern for all of mankind because of his success in overcoming and fulfilling the Law, is demonstrated in the words: "He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ..." And this confirms this statement with respect to the true potential of all of mankind that Jesus taught, as demonstrated in the words of Hippolytus when he wrote that they believed that when anyone "...thus fulfill the law, they are able to become Christs" (Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see http://Ebionite.com ). And this is why Jesus taught that he was our brother -- i.e., "Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'" (John 20:17 NIV). So how did the Church recast Jesus as God incarnate? Thus, the words above by Prof. John Allegro that the Dead Sea Scrolls provide overwhelming evidence that “...may upset a great many basic teachings of the Christian Church. This in turn would greatly upset many Christian Theologians and believers. The heart of the matter is, in fact, the source and originality of Christian doctrine”. And the fact that ANYONE who fulfills the commandment to "turn about" and become as a child, is able to circumvent the corruptions and dogma of men and learn the Truth of all Truths directly from the Source by entering the Inner Kingdom, means that all Christians are ultimately responsible for knowing the Truth.

It must be pointed out that the original disciples and followers of Jesus -- i.e., those who walked with him daily -- were of the position that Jesus became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) and At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God by fulfilling the Law (within himself) -- and that anyone who themselves fulfilled the Law, would in like manner become the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) and accomplish even greater things than did the historical man Jesus. It must be also pointed out that this was the same Law that Jesus told the man who came to him inquiring about inheriting eternal life, that Jesus said he must fulfil. Paul warned that the Christians should "be afraid" -- i.e., “Do not be arrogant", warns Paul, "but be afraid” (Rom 11:20 NIV). Why? Why would the Apostle warn the Christians they should be afraid? This is an important question for the modern believer to understand. They should be afraid because of the violation of the covenant with God when the Gentile converts ignored the warning of the Apostle: “For if God did not spare the natural Jewish branches, he will not spare you either… Otherwise, you also will be cut off” (Rom 11:21-22 NIV). In a surviving excerpt of what has been historically known as the Gospel According to the Hebrews, which was reported to be the "original version of Matthew" that was composed in the Hebrew Characters, it was written: "If ye be in my bosom and do not the will of my Father which is in heaven, out of my bosom will I cast you away". In the late nineteenth century a library of scriptures was uncovered which is today known as the Oxyrhynchus Papyri -- wherein this verse is found reading: "Though ye be gathered together with me in my bosom, if ye do not my commandants, I will cast you forth". This same verse of scripture is quoted in what is historically known as the 2nd Epistle of Clement, where it is written: "Let us, then, not only call Him Lord, for that will not save us. For He saith, 'Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall be saved, but he that worketh righteousness' …For this reason… the Lord hath said, 'Even though ye were gathered together to me in my very bosom, yet if ye were not to keep my commandments, I would cast you off, and say unto you, Depart from me; I know you not whence ye are, ye workers of iniquity’".

In a recent Christianity Today interview with Brian Mclaren he pointed out that "One of the problems is that the average Christian in the average church who listens to the average Christian broadcasting has such an oversimplified understanding of both the Bible and of church history - it would be deeply disturbing for them to really learn about church history." The facts of the matter is that because the leadership within the Church has done everything in their power to suppress and conceal the truth of history from the congregations -- and they are so accustomed to seeing what is left of the scriptures through the filter of their doctrines of belief -- that they have no clue that they have virtually nothing in common with what Jesus actually taught. Closing their eyes to the conclusion of Prof. Elaine Pagels who wrote in warning: “It is the winners who write history - their way. No wonder, then, that the viewpoint of the successful majority has dominated all traditional accounts of the origin of Christianity… It suggests that these religious debates - questions of the nature of God, or of Christ - simultaneously bear social and political implications that are crucial to the development of Christianity as an institutional religion. In simplest terms, ideas which bear implications contrary to that development come to be labeled as heresy; ideas which implicitly support it become orthodox” (Elaine Pagels, The Gnostic Gospels). Does it matter? Does it matter if the modern faith-based Christian puts his faith blindly in the dogma of Roman Emperors? Or the Original Teachings of Yeshua/Jesus known as TheWay? And what if the objectives and purpose of the dogmatic Church is in total opposition to the purpose of the original teachings of Yeshua/Jesus?

Bound By Dogma! What do these biblical scholars and Dead Sea Scroll experts know that the faith-based congregations have ignored? Very simply, that the Church which was born in the fourth century -- created by the Emperor Constantine -- had so little in common with the original teachings and objectives of the Gospel, that the dogmatic Church which came into existence under pagan Rome must be recognised as a totally different religion. And therefore, the term BC must be recognised as meaning Before Constantine -- and the term AD indicating those events in the fourth century that would constitute After the Death of the religion of Yeshua/Jesus. And while the proof is right there in the New Testament itself, like the Pharisees before them, the vast majority of Christians would much rather embrace the non-demanding dogma of Pagan Rome, than to actually embrace the original Gospel teachings of The Way.

When the vast differences between the modern Church is understood in contradistinction to the Original Teachings and Objectives of the religion of Jesus, it must be concluded that the modern faith-based Christian has been so spiritually bound by manmade dogma, that he has been rendered spiritually impotent and flat-lined. In the below article it will be demonstrated that the modern Christian doctrine that is embodied in the words: "You must believe in salvation by grace alone, and that salvation is immediate and eternal upon acceptance of Jesus as a one-time sacrifice for your sins, and not obtained through works, sacraments, traditions or merits of our own", not only has no place within the context of the first-century Gospel teachings, but is openly rejected even in the existing New Testament. Quoting the statement of Paul with respect to the modern concept of a "...one-time sacrifice for your sins" that acts as a perpetual coverture: "For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who ...then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). And because the fourth century Church threw away the Key of Knowledge, they have made themselves latter-day Pharisees who as blind guides, lead the faith-based believers in the wrong direction. And because of the removal of the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus on the child Within, there is simply no means for them to understand the True Gospel Message.

Sanskrit word for meditation is bhavana, which simply means “cultivation.”

“The word meditation in the modern world often has the connotation of doing something special to calm the mind or try to achieve some altered state of consciousness. But the Sanskrit word for meditation is bhavana, which simply means “cultivation.” In fact, we are all cultivating our minds in one way or another all the time, through the way we use our attention. The quality of our lives reflects the ways we have cultivated our minds until now.”—B. Alan Wallace, The Attention Revolution

To dwell in the here and now does not mean you never think about the past or responsibly plan for the future.

To dwell in the here and now does not mean you never think about the past or responsibly plan for the future. The idea is simply not to allow yourself to get lost in regrets about the past or worries about the future. If you are firmly grounded in the present moment, the past can be an object of inquiry, the object of your mindfulness and concentration. You can attain many insights by looking into the past. But you are still grounded in the present moment.

We could say that meditation doesn’t have a reason or doesn’t have a purpose.

We could say that meditation doesn’t have a reason or doesn’t have a purpose. In this respect it’s unlike almost all other things we do except perhaps making music and dancing. When we make music we don’t do it in order to reach a certain point, such as the end of the composition. If that were the purpose of music then obviously the fastest players would be the best. Also, when we are dancing we are not aiming to arrive at a particular place on the floor as in a journey. When we dance, the journey itself is the point, as when we play music the playing itself is the point. And exactly the same thing is true in meditation. Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment.

Clear Space Mind is a method of letting go. Meditational Review

Clear Space Mind is a method of letting go. In meditation you let go of the complex world outside in order to reach a powerful peace within. In all types of mysticism and in many spiritual traditions, meditation is the path to a pure and empowered mind. The experience of this pure mind, released from the world, is blissful.

In practicing Clear Space Mind there will be some hard work, especially at the beginning, but if you are persistent, meditation will lead you to some very beautiful and meaningful states. It is a law of nature that without effort one does not make progress. Whether you are a layperson or a monk or nun, without effort you get nowhere.

Effort alone is not sufficient. Effort needs to be skillful. This means directing your energy to just the right places and sustaining it until the task is complete. Skillful effort neither hinders nor disturbs; instead it produces the beautiful peace of deep meditation. The Goal of Meditation is to know where your effort should be directed in meditation, you must have a clear understanding of the goal.

The goal of this meditation is beautiful silence, stillness, and clarity of mind. If you can understand that goal, then the place to apply your effort and the means to achieve the goal become much clearer.

The effort is directed to letting go, to developing a mind that inclines to abandoning. One of the many simple but profound statements of the Buddha is that “a meditator who makes letting go the main object easily achieves samādhi,” that is, attentive stillness, the goal of meditation (SN 48,9). Such a meditator gains these states of inner bliss almost automatically. The Buddha was saying that the major cause for attaining deep meditation and reaching these powerful states is the ability to abandon, to let go, to renounce.Letting Go of Our Burdens during meditation, we should not develop a mind that accumulates and holds on to things. Instead we should develop a mind that is willing to let go, to give up all burdens. In our ordinary lives we have to carry the burden of many duties, like so many heavy suitcases, but within the period of meditation such baggage is unnecessary. In meditation, unload as much baggage as you can. Think of duties and achievements as heavy weights pressing upon you. Abandon them freely without looking back.

This attitude of mind that inclines to giving up will lead you into deep meditation. Even during the beginning stages of your meditation, see if you can generate the energy of renunciation—the willingness to give things away. As you give things away in your mind, you will feel much lighter and more free. In meditation, abandoning occurs in stages, step by step.

Meditators are like birds that soar through the sky and rise to the peaks. Birds never carry suitcases! Skillful meditators soar free from all their burdens and rise to the beautiful peaks of their minds. It is on such summits of perception that meditators will understand, from their own direct experience, the meaning of what we call “mind.” At the same time they will also understand the nature of what we call “self,” “God,” “the world,” “the universe,” the whole lot. It’s there that they become enlightened—not in the realm of thought, but on the soaring summits of silence within their mind.

Open Eyed Loving-Kindfulness

Over the ages there have been a number of traditions that have encouraged an open-eyed meditation.
it’s not just a way to relax, or to deal with life’s problems. Done correctly, it can be a way to radically encounter the child within and to begin—and sustain—real transformation in ourselves. Loving-Kindfulness is somewhat like Mindfulness, yet without having to suffer uncomfortable body positions, attitudes of seriousness, internal battles, pious aspirations or long faces. It has a range of practical solution to lifes problems that require courage to pursue.

Open Eyed Kindfulness

Why 'open eye' Kindfulness? Isn't easier to relax, to feel peaceful and not be distracted with our eyes closed? Well yes, that can be true, however our meditation is not just about feeling peaceful. Its to create a real-time safe and secure environment for our released child within

Think about it...a kindfulness meditation that we can do when we need it most! Right in the middle of the challenges of life. No need to wait until we have the right place, the right music, the right lighting, the fragrant candle or be able to close your eyes. This is the meditation for anyone, anywhere, anytime.

It is important to remember that kindfulness meditation is a practice and uses a course of actions. Although to refine a sort of mastery over it can be deeply satisfying, meditation is not actually a 'thing' in itself. It is a practice. In the same way that we practice sport, or calligraphy, or dance, or learning to walk, practice is the time we set aside to hone our skills for when we plan to engage in the full time living.

Open Eye Kindfulnes is a practice for living. Our lives today are so full of demands, that it's easy to lose ourself in the expectations of others. Kindfulness is about taking time out to reconnect with our own child within, with the real you behind the many roles and responsibilities of modern life.

The aim of open eye kindfulness is to carry this state of centred awareness with us throughout our day and our life, as we walk, as we talk, as we do what we do... day to day. To stay connected to our natural wisdom and strength which we have learned from the ten stages.

What it is about

While Open Eye kindfulness offers us a definite reduction in stress, and increase in relaxation and inner harmony, in truth these are side effects of the practice. The real aim is to realign us with our essential, core self, our kindful self the child hidden within.

When we rest in our own true nature that of the child, we feel what it feels like to be eternal, to know absolutely that we can never cease to be. This realisation makes us feel deeply secure. We recognise that although our body will cease to exist one day, we - the child within - will continue.

When we are centred in our origin of peace, in our authentic power, the pressure to perform is reduced enormously because we know without question, our own value and the true value of others. We intuitively know that we have everything, in fact that we are part of everything, for which we have always been searching.

This ongoing feeling of personal security  enables us to simply relax into our life. We learn to trust ourself more and more, and we experience a growing sense of our own loving-kindfulness within ourself. We don't have to defend ourself and we don't have to prove anything to anyone any more.No more explanations that cast us into the victims role.

This brings 'our child within' back to us, putting us in creative charge of our own life, our own compassionate new world.

What am we here for?

The other piece of magic that starts to happen is that we naturally begin to align to our life's loving purpose. When we're busy living lives based on the expectation of others, it is unlikely that we will realise that purpose. This inability to do, to be who we were designed to be, to finally have what we were meant to be given in childhood, is possibly the greatest source of sorrow that as a human being we can experience.

Each of us carries within our DNA a unique contribution to the world...and right now our world really needs us.

When you continue connect through Open Eye Kindfulness with the uniqueness of our true compassionate self , the world around us starts to respond to us, bringing to our door the people, the experiences, the facilities we need to do our loving life's work.

It is helpful to remember that our loving life's work doesn't have to be huge and visible. T
his simple work we know we are called to do. There was nothing at all glamorous about our commitment to help the dissociated passing on our practice with dignity in the arms of compassion.

When we start to align more and more to our life's purpose we may be surprised at how uncomplicated it is. In fact, we will find that whatever we do:
* Is easy for us (though others may marvel at how you can do it)
* We don't notice time passing
* Is of service to others - beyond self interest
* Makes us contented
* Gives us a new sense of meaning to our lives

Moving Beyond loneliness and isolation

The other advantage that Open Eye Kindfulness does is remove the barriers between us and the rest of the world. When we practise with our eyes open, and are able to hold that state throughout the day more and more, we stop feeling disconnected and unrelated to others. Strangers transform into brothers, even enemies become friends. We start to understand that people behave badly because they are dissociated from and lost to their own origin of peace and power of the child within. This understanding enables us to be more compassionate, tolerant and kind not only with others, but with ourself too.

The Child Within
Today in the west, there is a growing resistance to religion which in large part has grown out of institutionalisation, where it was used by many to control and dominate the few. However, in Open Eye Kindfulness, we not only connect to the child within us, but we connect with our real intuitive source.

When we return to our own true nature the child hidden within, the pure life energy within the physical body, we are able to automatically connect with our child within. This connection is natural, sustaining, empowering and re-energising as well as affirming in the reflected reality our own perfect child within.

The ache of separation that many of us experience disappears in an instant. This relationship becomes one of loving renewal. The child within being the touchstone that guides us home to our true self.

How to do it

It is certainly a great practice to set aside some time first thing in the morning. Centre ourself in ourself so that as we move throughout the day, we are more likely to create our life rather than simply react to the barrage of input that comes at us from all sides.

We may think that it is impossible to manage 10-15 minutes, but we will discover that the resultant effects to our emotional stability and mental clarity, not to mention our effectiveness, general wellbeing and happiness, are well worth creating the time for our practice.

Often we give up our practice when we feel that we can't control the onslaught of our thoughts that present themselves when we sit to meditate. The clue is to look after our thoughts throughout the day. Be aware as often as possible, letting go to the management of our intuitive voice.

While we wait for the kettle to boil, when we're in the lift, as we put the phone down, simply take 30 secs to look after our child within; lay some peaceful thoughts as the foundation of our inner new world.

We might like to play around with thoughts like our origin is peace, our nature is pure, we are a peaceful child within, we're a powerful being, our destiny is assured, we are guided in each moment under our intuitive voice.

Before we go to sleep at night, we produce loving-kindfulness for our child within. Whatever we are remembering just before sleep, will stay active throughout the night and be present for us first thing in the morning.

Stage by Stage kindfulness

Stage 1: Gently focus our eyes on a static point in our space...an image of light is often a helpful one.

Stage 2: Relax our body.
* Take 3 deep breaths and as you exhale on each, consciously relax our shoulders, our jaw and finally our face muscles.
* Scan our body with our child within's eye and wherever we find tension simply give the order to our body to release.

Stage 3: Become aware of our external world...notice the sounds, the temperature of the air of our skin, the smells in our given space.

Stage 4: Now turn our awareness to our internal child within world...ask ourself "what is my child within thinking?" ... then, "what is my child within feeling?"

Stage 5: Just Accept it all. Don't try and change, or fix, or control anything. Simply accept whatever we are thinking and whatever we are feeling.

Stage 6: If we accept our child withins thoughts and our child withins feelings, then the question emerges "who is our child within?"
We are the observer, the witness, the awareness o
f consciousness. we are becoming our eternal answer the intuitive voice.

Stage 7: In this state of detachment, of security, experience that awareness - we - as a tiny dot of light...tiny and distinct, yet utterly connected to ourselves.

Stage 8: Imagine this dot of energy that we can merge with our child within, Imagine leaving behind the our constructed self, seeing disappearing becoming smaller and smaller, letting go of our ancestral voices.

Stage 9: This is our original home, the Home of the Child Within. Allow ourself to rest deeply in this silent world of consciousness, feeling the love, the peace of the perfect child within gently touching us, pulling us, nourishing us. Feel how light we feel, see  if we can gently allow ourself to feel as one with our perfect child.

Stage 10: When we're ready, allow our awareness to gently reconnect with our space
, with our physical form, harmonising easily with our body and the environment around us.

The more we align our personal loving-kindfulness the more we stay connected to our child within - our intuition, binds with our attention, the more we will find this practice becomes easier. As the practice becomes easier we will notice the benefits in our life.

When we're feeling the benefit, feeling good, don't give in to the temptation to miss a day or two. Set it into our routine.

Remember too, if we stop for just one minute every hour, we will have tallied up 15 minutes a day. That's a great advantage.

Be kind, but be firm. Acknowledge the successes no matter how small they may seem. This will help us to keep going, feeling more and more confident as we do.

Persevere with the eyes open, it really is beneficial. Not only will we feel peaceful and relaxed, we will also experience more love, greater happiness and self-respect, we will feel more powerful and more in control of our life.

In the face of love's potential destructive fury, you're left with three options.

"In the face of love's potential destructive fury, you're left with three options. 1) Pull down the emotional shutters and try to avoid it. 2) Find someone you admire or like, rather than love, and try to make do, rendering both of you miserable in the process. Or 3) Throw caution to the wind and gingerly place your fragile, beating heart in the hands of another human being and hope they don't crush it in their fist for giggles.

Our beliefs about ourselves are the result of our early experiences.

Our beliefs about ourselves are the result of our early experiences. If our early experiences were negative, they caused us to build a set of negative beliefs about ourselves that resulted in us having low self-worth.

Most of us have experienced at least some of the following.

We were mistreated, punished regularly in an extreme or unpredictable way, neglected or abused.

We were constantly criticised or had our weaknesses pointed out to us on a regular basis.
We felt we didn’t fit in to our family or school, perhaps because of a brighter sibling or because our talents weren’t valued.
We were teased or ridiculed by our peers for the way we looked or acted.
We bore the brunt of our family’s distress even though it wasn’t directly related to us, eg. death or illness of a family member.
Our family was seen to be different in some way or socially unacceptable.
We didn’t receive enough praise, encouragement or attention. Perhaps our parents were emotionally distant.
Repetition of similar experiences results in us creating a set of core beliefs about ourselves. As adults we might question whether these negative beliefs are valid, but as children, we were too emotionally immature to understand that it was our parents, caregivers and peers that suffered from low self-worth, and we were just on the receiving end of their issues.

The results strongly suggest that the mechanism of depression after alcohol drinking may be related to serotonin.

We examined tryptophan and serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) levels in the blood after consumption of alcohol. Forty-five minutes after drinking, whole blood serotonin concentration was significantly reduced, whereas no changes were observed in tryptophan level. The diurnal rhythm of 5-HT in subjects who the day before had drunk alcohol was quite different from the control group, but very similar to that of patients with depression. The results strongly suggest that the mechanism of depression after alcohol drinking may be related to serotonin.

The important thing with serotonin, is to keep it at steady levels.

The important thing with serotonin, is to keep it at steady levels. The medicines that raise the level of serotonin in the brain do so by slowing the absorbing of serotonin. Alcohol increases the available serotonin for a bit and then it drops off quickly, leaving the depressed person feeling worse, and they tend to not take the medicine correctly when they feel badly or are drunk. High serotonin levels do not mean somebody will feel happy or good, It makes it more likely that they won't feel really bad.

Emotional eating is when people use food as a way to deal with feelings instead of to satisfy hunger.

We've all been there, finishing a whole bag of chips out of boredom or downing cookie after cookie while cramming for a big test. But when done a lot — especially without realising it — emotional eating can affect weight, health, and overall well-being.

Not many of us make the connection between eating and our feelings. But understanding what drives emotional eating can help people take steps to change it.

One of the biggest myths about emotional eating is that it's prompted by negative feelings. Yes, people often turn to food when they're stressed out, lonely, sad, anxious, or bored. But emotional eating can be linked to positive feelings too, like the romance of sharing dessert on Valentine's Day or the celebration of a holiday feast.

Sometimes emotional eating is tied to major life events, like a death or a divorce. More often, though, it's the countless little daily stresses that cause someone to seek comfort or distraction in food.

Emotional eating patterns can be learned: A child who is given candy after a big achievement may grow up using candy as a reward for a job well done. A kid who is given cookies as a way to stop crying may learn to link cookies with comfort.

It's not easy to "unlearn" patterns of emotional eating. But it is possible. And it starts with an awareness of what's going on.
